Online Energy Management From MIT

IntroductionEnergy management is largely a science. Today's energy management challenges are much more dynamic than they were in the past. Corporates are facing acute energy crisis. On one hand, they are caught with scarcity of electricity supply and on the other, the ever increasing cost of energy. Various organisations with lead from Bureau of Energy Efficiency are looking for accredited energy managers and auditors to find solution to the creeping problems.Potential CareersEnergy is a diverse field, with many job opportunities. It will open opportunities in utility management for various industrial sectors such as fertilizers, refinery, paper and pulp, cement, rubber, pharmaceutical, chemical, textile, gas and oil companies and various energy intensive industries utilising fuel and electricity.It also offers opportunities in government & research groups, energy education, environmental regulation agencies, non-profit energy awareness and conservation organisations and for many other energy related agencies. This course is useful for existing utility managers, energy consultants, energy auditors, students of energy management, professors / lecturers of training institutes in the field of energy management.
